Hey everyone, today I’m reviewing an Avalon Organics Lavender Luminosity Moisture Plus Lotion with SPF 15. Avalon Organics is the US based skin care brand that offers personal care products. Packaging : The lotion comes in a see through green plastic bottle with a blue pump dispenser. I find the packaging very attractive and the pump system makes it very convenient to use. All the important product information like its benefits, usage and ingredients is also provided on the bottle.
What I Liked about Avalon Organics Lavender Luminosity Moisture Plus Lotion :
- It comes in a milky white color and has a refreshing lavender fragrance which is quite soothing.
- It has a bit runny consistency, but becomes a little thick during the winters.
- After cleansing and toning my face, I take a one pump of this lotion and apply it evenly all over my face and neck.
- It gives tingling sensation when applied on the skin but the discomfort goes within a few seconds of application.
- It is quite moisturizing and provides an adequate hydration to my oily skin during the winters.
- It comes with Broad Spectrum SPF 15 which makes it an apt skin care product for the day time.
- I have very sensitive skin which tans very easily, but after using this lotion I haven’t seen any skin tanning. It is true to its claims of protecting skin against harmful UV rays.
- It is enriched with Certified Organic Ingredients and is free from harmful chemicals.
- I am highly satisfied with the quantity provided for its price, this 198g bottle will last for 3-4 months.
What I Dis-liked about Avalon Organics Lavender Luminosity Moisture Plus Lotion :
- It leaves a whitish cast on the skin.
- My skin feels greasy after its usage, specially during the summers. So it is not suitable for combination and oily skin people.
- People with sensitive noses might not like its fragrance.
- The packaging is not so travel friendly, as the cap is not very secure and is prone to leakage.
- Not easily available at local beauty stores.
- Expensive.

Yeah! it’s good for normal to dry skin :) but it makes my oily skin greasy :(
