Bio Bloom Skin Care Toner Review

Hey everyone, today I will be reviewing a skin care product from a herbal brand Bio Bloom, named Bio Bloom Skin Care Toner. After reading some positive feedback about Biobloom skin care products I decided to try at least one product from this brand. Few months back I saw some Biobloom skin care products at Jabong.com and among all the product this toner looked promising to me, but didn’t buy it because I found its price way too high. After few days when I saw it at 38% discount I bought it without any second thought. I have a combination skin with few acne spots & blemishes and I use Oriflame & Votre Pore Shrink toner alternately, and they are pretty good. For quite some time, I was looking for some herbal toner as my skin becomes more sensitive during summers and my search came to an end with this Bio Bloom Skin Care Toner.

Packaging : Bio Bloom Skin Care Toner comes in a transparent plastic bottle with golden cap. A spray system is attached at the top of the cap, that is further covered with a plastic cap. All in all, the packaging is very simple, sturdy and there is no spilling of product, so you can easily carry it along with you.

My Experience : I bought this product for two reasons, first due to its amazing key ingredients (aloe-vera, peppermint, rose water) and second it is paraben & sulphate free. I have been using this toner regularly for last one month and I use it twice in a day. Bio Bloom skin toner is transparent in color and has strong rose water & peppermint mix fragrance, which goes off after application. I find the bottle with spray system very convenient to use.

It is suggested to apply this toner with cotton or directly spray it on your face and then rinse it off with warm water. I really don’t like the ‘directions to use’ given on the pack, I mean I don’t want to wait for 5 minutes after applying this toner and then rinse it off. In the hectic schedules, who have that extra 5 minutes to wait for toner to work, specially if you are a working women. As I am not doing any job (I am a full time blogger), so I followed their instructions few times, but after some time I started using it like any other toner. I wash my face, spray this  toner on a cotton pad and then gently apply it all over my face and neck. Generally 3-4 sprays are required during each use. I tried to spray it directly on my face few times , but I don’t like the feeling of liquid dripping on my face.

After applying this toner, I massage my favorite ZA day cream to complete my CTM routine. Bio Bloom skin toner doesn’t sting on my face nor does it break me out. It soothes skin and helps in reducing skin irritation. It effectively removes dirt or makeup residue left after face cleansing. After using this toner my skin feels hydrated and it also reduces oil secretion effectively. I have few acne scars and they are still there even after using this toner regularly for a month, so I think it doesn’t lives up to its claim of lightening dark spots. Other than that, it is a pretty decent skin toner which is paraben, sulphate & petrochemicals free.

Overall, it is an average skin toner that cleanses skin impurities, soothes skin irritation and is free from harmful chemicals. But I am not convinced by its claim of lightening dark spots, although it does a good job in hydrating skin. Another thing which I don’t like is its high price, I mean Rs.399 for just 100ml for an average toner is way too high (at least for me). I would like to buy it again only when it is at discount. This is my first product from Bio Bloom and I am pretty satisfied with it and will definitely check out some more skin care products from this brand.

  1. Hi! Thanks for an honest review and your kind words…

We agree that we are bit expensive but that is only because our products are Natural (NOT HERBAL!), and to avoid harmful chemicals we have to use more expensive natural ingredients to make our products.

Also, purpose of the Toner is not skin lightening or whitening. For that we have our skin whitening cream. Its just that one of the ingredients i.e. lemon juice helps lighten age spots & acne marks over a period of time with regular use.

For best results use in combination with our Cleansing Milk or buy them as a set at ….

    1. Hello ,

You are taking this review as if we have said all negative about the product & which you think is wrong .

1.The product is expensive means price is high in comparison to other competitive products in the market . You do not have to write in bold to tell that it has natural ingredients . This does not sounds a reply from a public company but an individual .

2.You do not have to tell us what is the purpose of a toner is ! You have mentioned on the product that it has an ingredient that “lightens age spots & acne marks” . That means that product also lightens age spots and acne marks . If after one month of usage I could not find a little lightening of acne marks then I wrote that in my review .

I think you have not read the whole review as in most of it I have written sentences like “I would recommend ” or “This is my first product from Bio Bloom and I am pretty satisfied with it and will definitely check out some more skin care products from this brand.”

If you think your product has no drawback & no one should write anything bad about it (even if they feel it) then I am sorry we do not do that .
