Coloressence Single Pearl Eye Shadow Review – Scarlet Red

Hello everyone, today I will be reviewing an eye shadow from Coloressence, named Coloressence Single Pearl Eye Shadow in shade Scarlet Red. Scarlet red is a beautiful bridal color and I bought this shade for my sister-in-law who is getting married soon. I ordered this shade online from Jabong.com.

Packaging : It is a single eye shadow and comes in a sturdy black packaging with transparent section on the lid for easy identification of color. The packaging is compact and lid it tightly secure & will not open on its own.

My Experience : The shade Scarlet Red is a beautiful maroon-red color with pearl finish. It contains tiny shimmer particles that are almost invisible. It has a mousse like texture and glides smoothly onto lids. This eye shadow is not powdery so there is no fall out. The eye shadow is highly pigmented and a single swipe imparts a nice color on lids.

This eye shadow has very smooth, satiny texture and blends well to give pearl finish. It stayed on my lid for 3-4 hours without creasing, but the intensity of the color started reducing after 4 hours. The eye shadow is so pigmented that only two swipes covered my whole lid. This eye shadow can be used wet, it became like paint when I picked up color with a wet brush. I think it gives best results when used dry. I must say it is a pretty decent product and I would love to buy few more shades like golden or pink.
