Cornelia Signature Shine Defining Shampoo Review

Hey everyone, today I am going to review Cornelia Signature Shine Defining Shampoo which I got in my Fab Bag May Edition. Before I started using this shampoo, I did a little research on this product as Fab Bag website doesn’t provide enough information about it.

Right now these products are not available in India.

Packaging : I got 50ml sample of this shampoo that comes in a tiny plastic bottle with screw cap. The transparent packaging of the shampoo allows you to see how much product is left. I find this 50ml bottle compact & sturdy and you can easily carry it along with you while travelling.

My Experience : The shampoo has a gel like consistency which is neither too runny nor thick. It has amazing fragrance which is very refreshing and soothing. I have used this shampoo thrice and after each use my hair felt soft and smooth. I have lots of strands on my head which are quite thick, so I always shampoo twice during each wash to make sure my hair are well cleansed.

I took generous amount of this shampoo on to my palm and then massage it gently on the scalp and hair. As soon as you massage this shampoo, you can feel the aroma all around you which is very soothing. I massaged it for 2 minutes and then washed it off. I repeated the application of shampoo and left it for 5 minutes and then rinsed it off with cold water. It worked up into medium lather and came out easily. It cleansed my hair thoroughly without making them dry.

First time when I washed my hair with this shampoo, I didn’t follow it with conditioner and it made my hair a bit frizzy. But after using hair serum, my hair looked more manageable and soft to touch. Second time I used my favorite conditioner after this shampoo. And this time my hair felt more soft, shiny and manageable which smelt amazing. It is the only hair product whose fragrance lasted for 2 days on my hair which is great. After just two washes I was tempted to buy this shampoo, but I haven’t found it anywhere, even it is unavailable at Fabbag.com. Thanks Fab Bag for sending such an amazing product, I will definitely buy full size bottle of this shampoo.

Cornelia Signature Shine Defining Shampoo Price in India : There is a big confusion about its price, product’s website says its $28 for 240ml, Amazon.com & eBays.com are selling it for $5 for 125ml and FabBag.com says its Rs.300 for 50ml.

What I Liked :

• Amazing fragrance that lasts for 2 days
• Works up into decent lather
• Cleanses hair and scalp pretty well without making hair dry or scalp itchy
• Makes hair soft & smooth to touch
• It didn’t cause any hair fall or fading of my colored hair
• Little goes a long way
• Imparts a mild shine on the hair

What I Disliked :

• Availability
• Contains Sulphate
• A bit expensive
• Gives best results when used with conditioner
