Khadi Neem, Basil & Tea Tree Ayurvedic Hair Oil Review

Hi everyone, today I’m going to review an anti dandruff hair oil from a herbal brand Khadi and it is named as Khadi Neem, basil & tea tree ayurvedic hair oil for preventing dandruff. As we all know dandruff is a very common problem during winters and in my case even in summers too. I’ve dry hair with oily scalp which results to flaky & itchy dandruff. I’ve tried many cosmetics as well as home remedies to get rid of dandruff, some of them proved to be good but dandruff reoccurs after every few days. I’ve already reviewed Schwarzkopf anti-dandruff fluid (Click here to view the full review of Schwarzkopf Bonacure Dandruff Control Fluid) that gave good results to me, but I had to use it every single day to keep my scalp dandruff free, which is not possible. A month back I came across this hair oil, at Jabong.com and I ordered it at once, as I’ve already used few Khadi products and they are really amazing.

Packaging : It comes in a transparent cylindrical bottle with black flip open cap. It has a light green color and has strong smell that lasts for a longer period of time.

My Experience : I have been using this hair oil from last 15-20 days and I’m using it twice a week. First time when I used this hair oil, it literally gave me head ache because of its strong fragrance and I decided to not use it again. But next day I noticed that my scalp is not that much itchy as it used to be and also there was less appearance of dandruff. So I decided to try it once more to check whether it works again or not and guess what, it worked again and from that day I’m using it religiously twice a week.

I generally take a small amount of this oil and massage it gently onto my scalp with my finger tips. I let it rest for 2 hours and then wash it off, if you want you can leave it in overnight. But in my case I can’t wear its strong smell for more than 2-3 hrs, so I use it this way only. It reduced my dandruff up to 80% till now and a small amount will go a long way. As you can see in the pictures, almost 90% product is still left after using it 6-8 times. It not only reduced itch & control my dandruff, it do imparts moisture to my scalp & hair and I don’t found any need to use other hair oil for hair massage.

I must say this is one of the best anti-dandruff product that I came across and it’ll surely works for all hair types. And it is herbal product with no chemicals and is paraben free, so what else we could expect. All in all it is a very good hair oil, that will definitely reduces your dandruff and gives you flake & itch free scalp for longer time. Its fragrance might be an issue for some people like me but its results will definitely give you a courage to wear its strong smell.
