L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lipstick Raspberry Syrup Review

Hey everyone, today I am going to review recently launched L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lipstick, which is a part of L’Oreal’s L’Or Lumiere Cannes Collection. L’Oreal has come up with 12 gorgeous shades in Moist Matte range – Cherry Crush, Lincoln Rose, Raspberry Syrup, Glamour Fushia, Flaming Kiss, Blaze of Red, Orange Power, Arabian Night, Maple Mocha, Sheer plum, Black Cherry and Spring Rosette. Today I will talk about Raspberry Syrup shade which I got in L’Oreal L’Or Lumiere Cannes 2014 Collection Box – Spring Radiance.

Packaging: The lipstick comes in a golden metallic pack with mirror finishing. A square-shaped color coded button is provided on the pack which helps to identify the shade. The cap of the lipstick shuts tightly, so you can easily carry it along with you anywhere. Shade name and number is written at the bottom of the pack. I find the packaging luxurious, sturdy and travel-friendly.

My Experience: Raspberry Syrup is a gorgeous, warm toned, bright pink color with red undertones. It doesn’t contain any shimmer and is absolutely fragrance-free. It has buttery soft texture and glides smoothly onto lips without tugging. It is highly pigmented and just single stroke gives great color pay off. It is such a pretty shade that will suit on every skin tone. It is very lightweight and moisturizing too. I don’t find the need of applying lip balm underneath this lipstick, even if you have dry lips, you will not feel any discomfort after wearing it. Its non-drying formula makes it comfortable to wear the whole day. It settles into a matte finish and instantly brightens up my face. It covers the darkness of lips in just 1 stroke. It stays on my lips for 4-5 hours with light drinks and snacks in between. After that it fades evenly, leaving behind a nice pink stain. It neither bleeds nor settles in fine lines, but transfers easily.
