Hi everyone, today I will review Lotus Herbals AcneGel Tea Tree Anti Pimple & Acne Gel. I have combination skin and this sweaty & hot weather is giving me a new painful pimple everyday. I have tried many ointments but all in vain, so I decided to try some herbal product that soothes my extra sensitive skin. I bought this acne gel online from Lotusherbals.com. I have been using this acne gel for last 2 months and I am pretty satisfied with its results.

Packaging : The acne gel comes in a see through plastic bottle with pump system. The pump is covered with a transparent cap to make the packaging more hygienic. The cap is tightly secure to make sure there is no spilling of product, so you can easily carry it with you.

My Experience : As I have mentioned earlier that I have combination skin with few acne here & there and light blemishes. Most of us are aware of the goodness of Tea Tree oil, so I prefer to use skin care products that contain Tea Tree Oil. Lotus AcneGel has a light yellow color and has perfect consistency which is neither too thick nor runny. It has very refreshing tea tree oil fragrance that goes off after few minutes. It is very lightweight and gives cooling sensation when you apply it initially.

I apply this gel twice in a day after cleansing my face. I take two pumps of this gel and spread it nicely on the affected areas like chin, jawline and nose. It gets absorbed in the skin with little massage. It doesn’t sting on my sensitive acne prone skin. It is very hydrating and doesn’t make my skin oily or patchy. I usually apply this gel before applying foundation or CC cream and there is no oil secretion for about 4-5 hours. I am using this gel twice in a day and it reduced 20-30% of my acne in just two weeks. It does remove acne spots & blemishes, but it wont give instant relief and result depends on skin type.

It is very effective in soothing inflammation and skin allergies. It is advised to use this acne gel after every 3 hours, which I do if I suffer from severe acne. The key ingredient of this gel, Tea Tree oil is very effect in acne reduction. It is a herbal product, so no fear of chemical reactions on sensitive skin. Two pumps are more than enough to cover whole face and this 100g bottle will last for 2-3 months when used twice in a day. You need to be patient if you have severe acne, as it may take 1-2 months to reduce pimples and remove acne spots.
