Hi everyone, today’s review is about Lotus Herbals Safe Sun Daily Multi-Function Sunblock SPF70 PA+++, which is an important part of my daily skin care routine. I have very sensitive skin which gets tanned very easily, so I avoid stepping out in sun as much as possible and religiously apply this sunblock every morning.
Packaging : Lotus Herbals Safe Sun Daily Multi Function Sunblock SPF70 comes in a bright orange flattened plastic tube with a flip cap. The packaging is sturdy and you can easily carry it with you. There is only one issue that I found with the packaging is, after 2-3 usages the sunblock started accumulating near the mouth of the cap.
Texture & Fragrance: It has a light yellow color and has BB or CC cream like consistency. It has a mild fragrance that goes off after few minutes of application. It spreads easily on the skin and absorbs within 30 seconds with a bit of massage.
Price & Availability: The price of the Lotus Herbals Safe Sun Daily Multi Function Sunblock SPF70 is Rs.515 for 60g. You can buy it from local departmental stores and also online from Flipkart.com, Amazon.in, etc.
My Experience: I have been using this tinted sunblock for last one month and I am pretty satisfied with its results. The color of this sunblock matches my skin tone perfectly and gives me even looking skin. It is very lightweight & non-sticky and gives matte finish initially. The matte effect goes after 2-3 hours and my skin becomes a little shiny and I need to use a blotting sheet to blot excess shine. The most important part of this sunblock is, it has SPF 70 along with PA+++ protection. Lotus Herbals Daily Multi Function Sunblock is a pretty decent product that doesn’t break me out. Only a pea-sized sunblock is required to cover the entire face and this 60g tube will last for almost 3 months when used once in a day. It is very moisturizing and can be used as a makeup base.
Few drawbacks that I found in this sunblock are, its color may not suit all skin tones. It is quite expensive as compared to other products offered by Lotus herbals. Dry skin people need to apply moisturizer underneath this sunblock, especially during the colder months.
