Hey everyone, today I’m reviewing the Lotus YouthRX Active Anti Ageing Foaming Gel Face Wash. Lotus Herbals has introduced the new Preservative free YouthRX skincare range for the matured skin recently. Packaging: Lotus Herbals YouthRX Active Anti Ageing Foaming Gel comes in a luxurious golden tube with purple accents. The squeeze tube packaging is very convenient to use and easy to carry while travelling. All the important information like benefits, usage, ingredients, expiry date, etc. is also mentioned on the tube.
Texture & Fragrance: Lotus YouthRX Active Anti Ageing Foaming Gel comes in a light pink color and contains loads of tiny scrubbing granules. It has a foamy cream like consistency that works nicely into a rich lather. It has a mild floral scent which I really like.
Price & Availability: The price of the Lotus YouthRX Active Anti Ageing Foaming Gel is Rs.225 for 100g. You can buy it from Lotus Herbals outlets and also from leading online shopping sites like Nykaa.com, Purplle.com, Paytm.com, etc.
Efficacy: Lotus YouthRX Active Anti Ageing Foaming Gel is enriched with some amazing potent natural ingredients which help deep cleanse the skin and leave the skin nourished for long. I generally take a dollop of this foaming gel and massage it nicely on my wet face and neck. It lathers well and removes all impurities, dirt and oil from the skin very well. It cleanses the skin nicely without making the skin dry or stretchy.
After using this face wash along with the other YouthRX skincare products for more than a month, I’ve seen a noticeable difference in my skin’s texture. Now my skin feels and looks more hydrated, supple and glowing. Lotus YouthRX Active Anti Ageing Foaming Gel is very gently on the skin and doesn’t cause any breakouts to my acne prone skin. It is suitable for almost all skin types, but people with oily skin might find it a little greasy during the hot and humid weather. I would love to buy this face wash again especially for the colder months when my skin becomes very dry and dehydrated.
What I liked about Lotus YouthRX Active Anti Ageing Foaming Gel:
- I really liked its luxurious and convenient to use packaging.
- Cream based face wash that cleans the skin effectively without ripping off skin’s moisture.
- A gentle face wash that is free from preservatives.
- Leaves the skin clean, hydrated and refreshed for a longer period.
- Suitable for the dry, dull and dehydrated skin.
- Infused with natural extracts of Jojoba, Ginger, Milk Peptide and Ginseng.
- A small quantity is enough for single use, so this 100g tube will easily last for up to 2 months.
- Not very expensive and easily available at stores and online.
What I disliked about Lotus YouthRX Active Anti Ageing Foaming Gel:
- Doesn’t give a squeaky clean feel to the skin, so people with oily skin might not prefer to use it during the hot & humid weather.
- The scrubbing granules have no exfoliation action.
- Contains SLES.
