Maybelline Volum Express Falsies Big Eyes Mascara Review

Hey everyone, today I am going to review the Maybelline Volum Express Falsies Big Eyes Mascara in shade Very Black. Maybelline New York has recently launched this dual brush mascara in the Indian market.

Packaging : The mascara comes in an attractive black and purple packaging. Two small plastic tubes are connected with a plastic connector that holds two fiber brushes on either sides. The purple tube contains the upper lash mascara while the black one contains the lower lash mascara. The two wands are of different sizes and shapes, the bigger curvy brush is for the upper lashes whereas the teeny tiny brush is for the lower lashes.

What I Liked about Maybelline Volum Express Falsies Big Eyes Mascara :

The Falsies Big Eyes mascara comes in a jet black color and has a very faint alcoholic fragrance.
Both the applicator brushes are flexible and are of good quality that makes the mascara application easy and fuss-free.
The upper lash brush is slightly curvy and it helps to cover all lashes from roots to tips. Whereas the lower lash brush is very sleek and covers those tiny lashes very well.
The formula is a little wet, but it dries really fast without creating any mess.
The brushes give fanned out look to each and every lash and evenly coat them.
The lower lash brush is amazing, it grabs even the tiniest lash.
It lengthens and adds volume to the lashes and gives the fuller lashes effect to my eyes.
It stays on my lashes for more than 8 hours without smudging.
It doesn’t clump or flake.
It is very lightweight and gives the natural look to my lashes.
It doesn’t come off even after splashing water on the face, so it is true to its waterproof mascara claims.
I have quite thin and straight lashes and it really makes my lashes look thicker, curly and long.
It is Ophthalmologist tested and is suitable for contact lenses.
I find this mascara value for money, it is a worth every penny you pay for it.

What I Disliked about Maybelline Volum Express Falsies Big Eyes Mascara :

It is not very build-able, if you go over-board it will make your lashes look spidery.
You need to use a good eye makeup remover to remove this mascara.
If you have thick, long and fuller lashes and you are looking for some dramatic, voluminous mascara then it might disappoint you.
Price might be an issue for some people.
Its claims of building 8x more volume.
