Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo Review

Hello friends, today I will be reviewing Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo. I’ve curly frizzy hair that is not behaving properly these days. Dry weather is worsening the problem by making my hair more frizzy and unmanageable.

I was noticing excessive hair fall and my hair became very dry and that itchy scalp is really annoying. Sometimes it itches so much that I have to scratch my scalp and end up with a damaged painful scalp (my scalp is quite sensitive too). So I decided to change my existing shampoo with some herbal product that is not harsh on my color-treated hair.

I am using Schwarzkopf BC Repair Rescue Shampoo for the last two years. The shampoo was suggested by my hairstylist when I got my hair rebonding done the first time. And to be honest I was very happy with the shampoo.

Now since I decided to try some organic product that is enriched with natural ingredients, so I opted for this Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo. I’m using this shampoo for the last 2 weeks and now I’m going to review it.

You can purchase this product online at Amazon.in

Packaging: It comes in a light blue color plastic bottle with a golden flip open cap. The packaging is similar to other products from the Organix brand.

My Experience: This shampoo has a gel-like consistency but I really had a tough time got this product out of the bottle, you need to shake the bottle 2-3 times to get the shampoo on the palm. It has a mild fragrance and has a light orange color.

I took a small quantity on my palm & applied it evenly to my wet hair. It worked into a rich, creamy lather and rinsed off easily. The first time when I used this shampoo it made my hair frizzy & dry and I could hardly get a comb through my hair.

It made my hair looked like moisture was ripped out of my hair. Next time when I washed my hair I used Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil conditioner after using this shampoo. Initially, my hair looked good but after 2-3 hours my hair became frizzy and unmanageable again.

I’ve chemically treated thick black hair and I thought that argan oil-enriched products might do wonders for my hair. But the sad part is, this particular shampoo dried out my scalp and hair every-time I used it.

It did impart a mild scent on my hair that lasted for 2-3 hours, not more than that. Now I have decided to switch back to my favorite shampoo (Schwarzkopf BC Repair Rescue Shampoo). (Irony is that Schwarzkopf imports/markets/sell Organix products in India)

I must say, I’m very disappointed with this product. I’ve already used some products from this brand and a few of them were quite amazing, but as far as this shampoo is concerned, it didn’t meet my expectations.

This might have happened because I was expecting too high from this product and Schwarzkopf shampoo has already set high standards. I bought this product for the fact that it contains Argan Oil & other natural ingredient and is sulfate-free.

But I must say it will not make your hair soft & silky as the product claims, instead it is just a wastage of money.

I’m planning to use this shampoo alternately with my existing shampoo, just to finish it off. I’m not going to buy this particular shampoo for sure, but try some other products from this brand. Yesterday, I read some reviews on other sites and saw that I’m not the only person who has a negative experience with this shampoo.

  1. I have the same experience. My hair which is naturally smooth and straight started frizzing out and extra dry . Would recommend people not to use this. it also takes a lot of quantity of shampoo to start lathering. My hair has never been this rough before. Your hair gets as rough and dry as swimming in a sea water
